Toddling around
I can’t believe the last time I wrote, Tesseri was just learning how to crawl. Now, she has turned 1, is running with Daisy, giving her daddy big kisses, and screaming MAMA! as I drop her off at daycare. Time is flying. Pretty soon, Tesseri is going to have more little friends to run around with. My best friend, Laura, is fixing to have a second beautiful little girl, Autumn, this October and two co-workers are also having children later this year! It makes a girl wonder how her parents could’ve watched me grow up, move out, and start a family herself.
Working on crawling
Tesseri has been trying to crawl for several weeks now and is taking a couple of movements forward. Ty and I will have our hands full soon. I’ll upload a video on facebook since I don’t have the videopress.
Holiday Brunch with Mimosas!
The holiday brunch was memorable even though I was not feeling 100%! I enjoyed getting most of the ladies and children together and appreciated my sister and my mom for preparing the dishes and drinks that I could not. Enjoy pics below!
At our Hendersonville home for Christmas…
Thankfully, our family was able to spend Christmas in Hendersonville. We saw all our immediate family except for Andrew, but we got to talk to him on Christmas day and we will see him at D’s wedding in April. Below are a few of our favorite photographs from the trip.
CH2M HILL Christmas Party at Byard’s Castle
Let’s see…Tess met Ella! We played dirty santa and Chris got stuck with that awesome shoe thing. Then we got great CH gifts from Robbie. It was a great Christmas dinner and we are thankful to Adam and Amanda for being such great hosts!
First football Christmas extravaganza
Our family had a great time watching the game at Keil’s house. Friends made wonderful chili that Tess couldn’t eat yet and we had a great time catching up. Thanks Keil and Lee for throwing a great party! Superbowl party anyone??
Tess’s 1st School Pic
It was picture day at The Goddard School. Tess is looking sharp in her red plaid dress.
Tesseri’s Baptism
Of course, if you know me, you know she had to be baptized on the 23rd! On August 23rd, a ton of loving family members came to celebrate Tesseri’s baptism. She wore the Mallison christening gown and boy was it longer than she was! But the gown and the ceremony was lovely. See pics below!
Catching up!
Tess has had a lot of wonderful memories over the last month. Her Uncle Brad, Cynthia, and her precious dog Yogi Bear came to visit Knoxville all the way from California. She had a blast watching the downtown nightlife when we all went out to dinner. Over the past month, she started smiling at people, pretending like she can talk with gurgling sounds, and she’ll be standing soon with as much as she works out in Gracie’s jumparoo. Mom started back to work on August 10th and Tess started day care. Since the start of school, Tess has begun interacting with the other infants in class and crying louder to compete with them when she wants something. Auden Sue and her have become the two ladies with loud pipes! Tess is also known as cutie and lights up when her dad calls her “Squirt.” Yesterday, Ty and Tess brought mom lunch at work and Tess showed off her beautiful smile and funny little laugh. More to come next week…Tess will be baptized on August 23rd at 9am!
