Tess’s 1st School Pic

It was picture day at The Goddard School.  Tess is looking sharp in her red plaid dress.

UT Game Visits

Annette came from Illinois, Dana from NJ, but I think Andrew came the furthest!

Tesseri’s Baptism

Of course, if you know me, you know she had to be baptized on the 23rd! On August 23rd, a ton of loving family members came to celebrate Tesseri’s baptism. She wore the Mallison christening gown and boy was it longer than she was! But the gown and the ceremony was lovely. See pics below!

Catching up!

Tess has had a lot of wonderful memories over the last month. Her Uncle Brad, Cynthia, and her precious dog Yogi Bear came to visit Knoxville all the way from California. She had a blast watching the downtown nightlife when we all went out to dinner. Over the past month, she started smiling at people, pretending like she can talk with gurgling sounds, and she’ll be standing soon with as much as she works out in Gracie’s jumparoo. Mom started back to work on August 10th and Tess started day care. Since the start of school, Tess has begun interacting with the other infants in class and crying louder to compete with them when she wants something. Auden Sue and her have become the two ladies with loud pipes! Tess is also known as cutie and lights up when her dad calls her “Squirt.” Yesterday, Ty and Tess brought mom lunch at work and Tess showed off her beautiful smile and funny little laugh. More to come next week…Tess will be baptized on August 23rd at 9am!

Happy 4th!

Last weekend, Tess got to hang out with most of the Liyana’s and met her Aunt Net. Tess instantly loved being held by her so Tara & Ty were able to get away and watch fireworks while Aunt Net kept her peaceful. We were very appreciative! Tess also partied over the Krebs house to celebrate the 4th of July. Her favorite part was hanging out with her energetic best friend Gracie. And as always, Tess enjoyed getting baths and naps with Nana. Tess never slept so much! But sleep paid off (I guess). She has grown out of 0-3 month clothes. Tara is upset that she didn’t get to put all her cute outfits on her and won’t make the same mistake again. We won’t repeat 3-6 month outfits until we run out!

Road Trip, Bottles, and Dragon Boat Races…Oh my!

This week has been a busy one. Tess managed to complete her first road trip to Hendersonville. She got her first tub bath. Then, she met Hannah’s family! Dad fed Tess her first bottle of breast milk. Aunt Marily and her cousin Turner came to visit Knoxville with Nana & Grandaddy. Plus, she attended the Dragon Boat Races to watch CH2M HILL & friends surge through the water in a 21 person boat/support KARM! It’s nice to get Tess out of the house to meet friends. We hope the 4th of July will be just as fun!

One month and counting

Time flies when you are having fun and growing fast. Last Thursday, Tess enjoyed a visit to her awesome pediatrician Dr. Lin and weighed in at 10 pounds and was 22.5″ long (with her feet flat). She has more head control this week and loves being in her swing. Most of the time we have to put her in the swing to lull her to sleep. This coming weekend, we are planning on taking our first road trip to Hendersonville to visit friends and family for Father’s Day weekend. Hopefully, Nana and Grandaddy will let Tess use a swing at their house!

Getting started

Our family’s newest addition arrived on May 18 and we couldn’t be more blessed. Having a child is an exciting new chapter in our lives and we have appreciated the prayers, gifts, and visits from family and friends since Miss Tesseri Ann was born. A huge THANK YOU goes out to you all for being so thoughtful. I am posting a few pictures of Tesseri’s visitors below. Now, here comes the challenge for Ty and Tara…to keep you all updated on Tesseri. Inspired by her best friend Gracie’s blog, www.theplaceforgrace.wordpress.com, Ty and Tara have created Tess’s blog to write stories, place pictures, and post videos to keep family and friends updated on the days of Tesseri’s life. Visit often!
